The same frequency band Wireless TV to TV Sender and Wifi router may cause interference
At present, many new types of Wifi router with dual frequency as popular selling feature, some of Wifi route support double frequency band, so what’s is dual frequency band ?
2.4GHz and 5.8GHz are two frequency bands, does not affect the transmission speed.
Some of clients may think wireless 5.8ghz is much faster than 2.4ghz? Just like mobile 4g is fast than 3g and 2g, but actually, 5.8ghz is a frequency band, the same with 2.4ghz, there is no difference between 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz, it’s like two road, there would influence each other, but for 3G and 4G in mobile phone, it’s means generation 3 or 4 communication technology , so the upload and download is difference.
Then why put forward 5.8ghz?
It’s because there is many 2.4ghz wireless device, also 2.4ghz frequency can contain 11 band, but with time goes by, all kinds of IT device become common, like most of iPad, 2.4ghz Wireless TV to TV Sender, mobile, PC, Game player, Bluetooth, wireless mouse use 2.4ghz frequency, then it will cause interference.
Advantage and Shortcoming of 5.8ghz
The advantage is 5.8ghz has anti-interference than 2.4ghz since most of wireless device in the market is 2.4ghz. But the penetrate ability is weak than 2.4ghz, The higher frequency the worse penetrability.
2.4GHz and 5.8GHz is simply the two band for Wifi router, 5.8GHz is mainly to solve the problem of 2.4GHz too congested, both in the transmission speed and no difference.
