Wireless IR Extender for Satellite Receiver



Wireless IR Extender also named wireless infrared remote extender or IR Reapter, some one also call it IR Sender, it’s just extend infrared signal, can not transmit av signal.

Example: PAKITE PAT-433 is Wireless IR Extender with 200 meter extension range at open space. PAKITE PAT-433 is wireless transmission, no need to connect any cable with device.

Pls noticed, PAT-433 also including transmitter and receiver, but connection has a little difference with wireless av sender.
Connection method:
1.Transmitter placed at tv end,
2.Receiver place at above tv box.






PS :
1. Receiver indicate light and tv box infrared indicate light was in the line, if this condition no need connect IR cable again.
2. Receiver was hiding in other place, IR cable was connect with Receiver end, and IR Cable has a sticker should be stick at tv box infrared indicate light.
3. If you need connect many device turn on/off at the same times, you need to order many transmitter with one receiver.

Story of TV Signal Transmitter and TV Receiver

With the time goes by, wireless is more and more popular at market, wireless router, wireless headset, wireless smart control, now tv can be connected with tv box by wirelessly.

Do you remember the tv receiver like this when you are little child?

Just set one pillar at open space with antenna wire and make sure no obstacle around the pillar, then connect a long cable from the pillar to tv, then tv will get the signal from the pillar to TV.


And now, you will see more tv receiver like this, a small device like pan.

Just put the device outside, and connect a long cable to connect with set top box, and connect the set top box with tv, then tv will get the signal. It’s much easy to install, but it’s still need a cable from set top box to tv, besides, one set tv receiver only connect with one set tv. But now, so many family has two or more tv, then we need connect more cable and need more set top box?

No need, just need purchase one set PAT series TV signal Transmitter is ok, no need the complex cable between tv and set top box, besides, even if you has two or more tv, also you just need one set top box.

Purchase tv signal transmitter also named wireless av sender, it contains a wireless av receiver and an av transmitter. Transmitter connect with set top box, and receiver connect with tv, once power on, it will be work, if you have more than one set tv, then you may need many pcs receivers, receiver qty is depend on your tv qty, the receiver is no upper limit, but the user should keep all receivers within the transmission range. Besides what ever how many pcs receivers you connect with one transmitter, the resolution would not get influence.

Let’s talk wireless av sender connection by picture. And step by step.

Transmitter:
How does wireless tv transmitter receiver work? It's simple really; let's use PAT-220 av sender as an example. The Transmitter connects to your STB by AV cables. Your STB signal is then wirelessly transmitted, through walls and ceilings, to the Receiver.

Receiver:
The Receiver picks up the STB signal sent from the Transmitter and displays it on your TV in another room. you can still use your STB remote to control your STB box using the built-in IR Remote Control.


Connection:
Transmitter Connection:
Just place the av transmitter above the STB, connect av transmitter with STB by AV cable in the right way, as the picture show.

Place the receiver besides the tv, and connect the tv by av cable in the right way,as the picture show.

IR Cable Connection:
Connect the IR Cable with Transmitter, and stick the infrared receiving at the infrared of STB receiver, like the following picture.

When you finish the above the step, get the power, you can watch program at different rooms.

But one more thing need to pay attention is: all of receiver were getting the same signal from transmitter, so all of the receiver was display the same program at different monitor.

PAKITE PAT-220 av sender set-up was very intuitive and easy. The resolution of the video and Audio is excellent, and the speed is outstanding. The Frequency used by the transmitter and receiver is very strong with good signal strength -- PAT-220 wireless av sender can pass signal through walls and between floors, and for considerable distance.

Though I didn't need to change the default frequency (channel), I had great fun switching between them to test the effects on my wireless router. PAT-220 av sender support 8 groups of channels. You can select these channels to avoid interference from signals of a wireless router. The fact that the signal strength at those frequencies was strong enough to wipe-out the signals from my wireless router is amazing.

If you are experiencing interference in the video or audio with PAT-220 av sender regardless of the channel setting, and in the form of pulsing flashes or distortion -- it can be resolved by keeping the av receiver and transmitter at least 8 feet away from your wireless router.

I'm really surprised at the low price of PAT-220 wireless tv sender. The performance is outstanding -- high resolution, fast, and with powerful, clean signal. PAT-220 av sender delivers high value and I am very pleased with this purchase, which has massively exceeded my expectations.

Someone are complained about PAT-220 av sender "built cheap". I have to disagree with these criticisms. Wireless IR Remote Control


Some questions comes up with wireless av sender systems, so this paragraph is for expound IR remote control function.

1: Why I need the Sender & Receiver with IR Remote Control? I have tv controller, I can change channels at tv end.
First, Why need IR Remote Control function? if you wanna change channels at tv end, you have to use PAKITE PAT-220 with IR Remote Control. Normally, we settle tv and set top box in the same room, so we can control at the tv end. but actually, you are not control tv, you are control set top box, if set top box and tv in the different room, you will find can not change channels at tv end, if you use Wireless AV Sender with IR Remote, then you can.

2. How do you control A/V devices from another room (e.g. change the channel on your cable box)? That’s where the IR extender comes in.
The IR extender is a cable that plugs into the PAKITE transmitter and has one blocks on it. You will find a blocks marked IR, and please noticed stick the IR cable in front of the device’s(DVD/STB and so on) infrared light. Then when you point the device’s own remote at the PAKITE receiver unit, which is connected to the IR extender, you can operate the device just as if you were pointing the remote at it directly.

We suggest wireless av sender with ir remote control (like PAT-220/PAT-530)for tv user, since end user need change channels at tv end, wireless av sender without ir remote control (like PAT-330/PAT-360) for cctv camera user. PAKITE would provide the best choice with low cost to clients.

HDMI VS SD Wireless AV Transmitter

HDMI TV and Set Top BOX had appeared on the market, clients may require HDMI wireless transmitter match with HDMI TV. At the same times, their will found he can not or hardly to find the HDMI wireless device supplier.
Here I'd like to state my personal opinion: why most of company would not produce HDMI ? HDMI already appeared on the market, it's correct, but still not the major market, that's the main reason why we would not produce Full HD AV Sender to expand the market.
For technique :  SD Resolution Wireless AV Sender support long range transmission, like PAKITE Brand PAT-260 Transmitter transmission rang is 350 meter. But if you ask for Full HD resolution, the transmission range will be very short(10 M-50 M without any hold back), and the penetrate ability will weak than SD Audio Video Transmitter, then it will be not suitable for used at different room or floor.
For Clients :  Unit price of HDMI video transmitter will be higher than SD Wireless AV Transmitter, SD Wireless AV Sender unit Price approximately $40-$60 if you buy one pcs at local market, the unit price will be much cheaper if you are agents , HDMI Wireless AV Sender EXW Price based on MOQ 100 sets will be $150 -$190,  it's too expensive for ender user, right?
Form Seller: $150 per sets as prime cost make HDMI market become small, it will no profit for the seller. Besides, at the first , buyer will hard to accept the cost .
That's the main reason why HDMI wireless av transmitter is hardly to search. besides, company would like develop wireless HDMI av sender if you has larger market with larger demands.
With wireless being the norm for so many of our electronic devices today, wireless av sender comes with it.
It’s also annoying when you want to put a TV in a room on the other side of the house from where your cable/satellite wiring enters it. I had this situation before I bought wireless av sender.
