PAT-220 av sender is typical and popular model, it support 150 meter transmission range and support IR Remote control. But the retail price is a little high for some of end user since the freight. At that time, PAT-330 has the same feature with PAT-220, but PAT-330 do not support IR Remote control, so the unit price is much cheaper then PAT-220, then some of clients would order PAT-330. But finally, the product is works well, but since no IR Remote control, so their have to exchange another model.

Transmitter and receiver as below, but no one can distinguish it’s belongs to transmitter or receiver.



But if you already get the product, you can check behind of both transmitter and receiver has serial number, the first three is model No. Like 330 or 220. So you can recognize this unit belongs to which model.

We need pay more attention about wireless product before make order,  and double check with seller, or you will loss one way freight at least.

The Difference between PAT-550 and PAT-580 | PAKITE

Both model is 5.8GHz frequency band, and 300 meters transmission distance at line of sight, support 38khz ir remote control, support one transmitter and many receivers.

1. PAT-550 av transmitter is RCA Jack input and output, it’s for typical RCA/AV interface TV and TV box with RCA/AV connection; but PAT-580 HDMI av sender/extender support newest and popular connection HDMI input/output, this interface mach with new TV and TV box, besides, PAT-580 HDMI support 2.0, it perfect combine with all kinds of HDMI.

2. The transmitter of PAT-550 support one group av signal input and the receiver support one group av output, one transmitter and one receiver can be used with one set-top box and two sets TV, but it should be though a convert to split one group av signal into two group. PAT-580 has a small difference with PAT-550, the transmitter of PAT-580 has two HDMI interface, one if HDMI input, another is HDMI output, the interface HDMI input is for connect with TV Box or DVD, another one HDMI output is for connect with mainly TV directly, and receiver end has one group HDMI interface, it’s for connect with second TV, then you will find one sets PAT-580 support connect with one set set-top box and two sets TV.

3. Wireless av transmitter and receiver PAT-550 is typical model in 2009, the output resolution only 640*480P, it’s called stand definition. PAT-580 is developed at the end of 2016, the resolution is 720*576P, it’s not full HD or 1080p resolution, please noted.

Some of clients think if the resolution is 1080P would be perfect, but all of us know that: 1080P wireless av extender cost very expensive. So take it easy, PAKITE R&D is trying to develop a new model for HD clients.

PAKITE brand RCA/AV and HDMI jack Wireless AV Sender has become more and more popular, but since the character of wireless product is very special, so many clients may misunderstanding.

Model PAT-220 is Wireless TV Sender for transmit both digital and analog signal by 433.92MHz wirelessly transmission; 2.4GHz ISM frequency band; support 150 meter transmission range at line of sight; and it support 38KHz infrared remote control, which means you can remote control the channels at receiver/television end.

But PAT-330 is 2.4GHz ISM frequency band; support 150 meter transmission range at line of sight; transmit both digital and analog signal by 433.92MHz wirelessly, but this model do not support ir remote control, so you can not change channels at receiver end if receiver and transmitter were placed at different rooms.

The reason why we suggest user choose PAT-220 for television is because the ir remote control function. Most of clients choose our Wireless TV Sender is for plan to place transmitter and receiver at difference rooms, so PAT-220 is better for television user. If user's signal source device and viewing device has HDMI interface, the PAKITE newest HDMI AV Sender may be fitable for HDMI user. And it requires signal source is 1080p full hd.

PAT-330 is more suitable for cctv camera transmit video from cctv camera to monitor, since cctv camera is no need to change channels or add/reduce the volume, so PAT-330 is much favorable for cctv camera user.

Eight years ago, DisplayPort come out, someone said Displayport will replace HDMI in the future, but for now, Displayport didn't reach the their expectation, it looks like only a little chance to replace the HDMI. But it's why? Displayport has advantage for technological and better than other’s, including HDMI can not reach it’s technological.

DisplayPort technical standard:

DisplayPort has developed 1.4a, and this is based on VESA Displayport at Sept 2014, the new vision 1.4a has HBR3 transmission model, 8.1Gbps transmission band, also combined VESA DSC 1.1 display compression standard, The combination of this two can allow the embedded display panel to support the highest resolution of 8K. From this technical standard we can analyze a keyword "bandwidth". the transmission of high bandwidth content is advantage of the DisplayPort interface, DisplayPort interface is based on the fundamental.

Technical standard of HDMI interface:

HDMI Jack has developed 2.0 Vision, but the new jack still not commonly used. Now the popular HDMI 1.4 standard support 4K resolution output but only for 24fps and 30fps frame rate, HDMI 2.0 could capable of handling 18000 trillion bits / sec data, enough to make 12 color screen display with high frame rate 60fps per second .

Compare HDMI and DisplayPort:

From the development, we can found the DisplayPort interface is superior to the development of HDMI interface in technically area.  after all, DisplayPort interface can transmit 8K resolution content. While the HDMI 2.0 version only support 4K 60-frame content. There is no big difference in other technical between of them, both of of then can transmit audio and video at the same times, and there is no difference in the physical interface, The most important difference is still bandwidth.

But we know the current ultra-high resolution equipment is not commonly used, only a few of 4K resolution products in the market, as the display industry's top configuration, 8K content will began at 2018, besides,only a little of 4K resolution resolution for now. So the bandwidthadvantage of DisplayPort has not displayin currently. Moreover, after 2018, both have to be upgraded, the capacity of HDMI  should be improved to meet the needs of user.

Black Model PAT-240 Wireless AV Sender

PAT-240 is one of Digital Series Wireless AV Sender from Chinese brand PAKITE, but it doesn't means it only for transmitting digital signal.

PAT-240 has RCA Jack for connect with signal source, it can transmit both digital signal and analog signal; this model Wireless TV Sender has 250 meter transmission range at line of sight, if their has obstacle then can not transmit 250m distance.

 

PAT-240 Wireless TV Sender support used at different rooms, if transmitter were placed at first room, receiver were placed at second rooms, PAT-240 Wireless TV Sender support, but u have to make the transmitter and receiver get more as closely as possible, the range should be not over 25meter after passed one wall; besides, even if the satellite receiver and television ware placed at different rooms, also you can change channels at tv end. PAT-240 transmission range is between PAT-220 and PAT-260, the other parameter is same, so many user will confuse this series which model is best suitable for him. If  PAT-220 we would suggest use in the same room or next room but transmission within 10 meter, if for PAT-260 we would suggest use in different floor and keep the transmission range no more over 10 meter, if you would use PAT-260 at the same floor, then PAT-260 support penetrate 3 walls.

Standard Definition: physical resolution of 720p video format. 720p refers to the video vertical resolution of 720 lines progressive scan. Specifically, SD means the resolution about 400 lines of VCD, DVD, TV programs and other "standard definition" video format, the standard definition. While the physical resolution up to 720p or more is known as HD ( High Definition) .On the high-definition standards, internationally recognized there are two standard: video vertical resolution of more than 720p or 1080i; video aspect ratio of 16: 9.

HD(High Definition)

Digital TV (HDTV) 720p, 1080i, and 1080p are high-definition standard formats defined by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, 1080p called the current top-of-the-line display format for digital televisions in progressive-scan 1920 × 1080 resolution. At present, only the  screen size over 60-inch can display the signal 1920 × 1080 resolution. Where I means  interlaced scanning, P means progressive scanning.  Simply , to show the effect, 1080p> 720p> 1080i. Of course, in 20-inch computer LCD screen, there is no difference.

FHD(Full HD)

Full HD:  the physical resolution up to 1920 × 1080 display (including 1080i and 1080P), where i (interlace) refers to interlaced; P (Progressive) represents progressive scan, the Fine degree in those two picture has a big difference, 1080P picture quality is better than 1080i. then 720 is called standard HD. Obviously,  the 1080 resolution is more advantages in large-screen TV, 1080 to ensure a clearer picture quality, but for small screen size tv, there is no big difference.

HDMI known as the High-Definition Multimedia Interface, It is the first digital interface to support uncompressed digital high-definition, audio and smart format and control command data on a single cable.

1, Ethernet channel: HDMI 1.4 edition increase the data pathto achieve high-speedtwo-way transmission. Devices that have this capability will be able to send and receive data at 100 Mb / s over Ethernet. Did you have HDMI Wireless AV Sender?

Here I'd like to make a statement to all of clients who has the below confuse: Now HDMI already become the major market, why your company didn't produce HDMI AV Sender to expand the market ?

For technique : HDMI Wireless AV Sender(what is it) it can be true, but the transmission range will be very short(10 M-50 M without any hold back), and the penetrate ability will weak then SD Wireless AV Sender, it's not worth to make deeply research.
For Clients :  HDMI Wireless AV Sender will be higher cost than SD Wireless AV Sender, SD Wireless AV Sender(what is it?) unit Price approximately $30-$60 in the located market, but HDMI Wireless AV Sender EXW Price based on MOQ 1000 sets will be $150 -$190, so it's too expensive for normal clients.
Form Seller:$150 per sets as  prime cost is too high, that will make HDMI Wireless AV Sender market become small, it will no profit for the seller. Besides, at the first , all the buyer is hard to accept the high cost than SD Wireless AV Sender.

That's why we didn't produce HDMI Wireless AV Sender. But in my personal opinion, HDMI Wireless AV Sender is no need, may be transmitter one cable will much cheap than by wireless, and HDMI no practical effect for normal family, usually  SD Wireless AV Sender can meet they daily life needed, so they would like to give up HDMI option.

Wireless series av sender, let’s take example av sender model PAT-330, PAT-330 is 2.4Ghz frequency band, support 150 meter transmission range at line of sight, support both digital and analog signal transmission, but do not support ir remote control.PAT-330 only support one group av input.

PAT-226 support ir remote control, so the unit price will be much higher than PAT-330, it doesn’t means PAT-226 quality is much better, both quality is good. But as for the function PAT-330 without ir remote control is more favorable for cctv camera user, PAT-226 support ir remote control is much convenient for tv user change channels.

Besides, if av sender PAT-330 connect with cctv camera, you may need one pcs BNC to AV converter, so you can connect the transmitter with cctv camera. As for av sender PAT-226, please noticed both transmitter and receiver should be connect with AV Jack also.

Most of people knows what is wireless av sender, but as the same times, more and more people inquiry about Full HD HDMI Wireless Transmitter and Receiver.

PAKITE is factory, over 7 years production experience, but right now, we do not have stock of full hd wireless av sender. Most of clients request :” HDMI has become major market, SD resolution is out date, you should produce wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver, so we can purchase from your company.” Yes, 1080P wireless av sender did exist at market, but if you really familiar with wireless av sender, you should know full hd is no market since the high cost. We can find 1080P product at market, but if you ever get inquiry from seller, you will find MOQ:1000sets at least.

If you have such qty for per month, of course we will produce for you, we have our produce line and R&D team and QC department, everything is ready. if the qty less than 1000sets, factory would not get any profile from it, None of business man will do like this. Unless you pay the factory with a attractive unit price, but at the same times the qty also is needed.

According to preliminary estimates, if real full hd wireless av sender, transmission range 50 meter at open space unit price would not less than EXW 150usd per sets . Including the freight , cost and profit at least 250usd per sets purchase by end user. May I ask any one would buy this device with short transmission range and expensive unit price?

Besides, if your set top box do not provide full hd resolution signal ,  then you will not get the full hd resolution at monitor; or if monitor resolution is not the real full hd, you can not get full hd resolution, you have to promise all of your device including signal source is full hd, then you can get the full hd screen.

HDMI VS SD Wireless AV Transmitter

HDMI TV and Set Top BOX had appeared on the market, clients may require HDMI wireless transmitter match with HDMI TV. At the same times, their will found he can not or hardly to find the HDMI wireless device supplier.

Here I'd like to state my personal opinion: why most of company would not produce HDMI ? HDMI already appeared on the market, it's correct, but still not the major market, that's the main reason why we would not produce Full HD AV Sender to expand the market.

For technique :  SD Resolution Wireless AV Sender support long range transmission, like PAKITE Brand PAT-260 Transmitter transmission rang is 350 meter. But if you ask for Full HD resolution, the transmission range will be very short(10 M-50 M without any hold back), and the penetrate ability will weak than SD Audio Video Transmitter, then it will be not suitable for used at different room or floor.

For Clients :  Unit price of HDMI video transmitter will be higher than SD Wireless AV Transmitter, SD Wireless AV Sender unit Price approximately $40-$60 if you buy one pcs at local market, the unit price will be much cheaper if you are agents , HDMI Wireless AV Sender EXW Price based on MOQ 100 sets will be $150 -$190,  it's too expensive for ender user, right?

That's the main reason why HDMI wireless av transmitter is hardly to search. besides, company would like develop wireless HDMI av sender if you has larger market with larger demands.

With wireless being the norm for so many of our electronic devices today, wireless av sender comes with it.

It’s also annoying when you want to put a TV in a room on the other side of the house from where your cable/satellite wiring enters it. I had this situation before I bought wireless av sender. I wanted to put a TV in my living room and bedroom, but there is a cable between set top box and tv. besides, two tv can not connect with one set top box, I am anxious to fixing this problems, but at that time only one option—running the wires along the ceiling and floorboards inside the house or running them over the roof on the outside—was desirable.

Now I found wireless av sender model PAT-260, it support used in different rooms and different floor, wireless transmission make installment step become easier, besides, also you can change channels at tv end, that a surprise, right? normally you have to change channels at set top box end if you know it very well.

You can also use the system to transmit audio and video signals wirelessly from other devices besides your cable box (e.g. DVD players, home theaters, gaming consoles) to your TV. Also, the model is marked SD resolution, but I think it's no difference with HD Wireless AV Sender.

Wireless tv sender use method is very easy, You simply connect the transmitter unit to your digital box and the receiver unit to your TV. Both of them connect using RCA connectors (the ones with the red/white/yellow plugs), which are provided with the units. You then just play with the antennas to align them so the signal moves as directly as possible between the two rooms.
